Managing General Partner is An Lo Poon who leads the Bridge Partners Asia team, provides critical marketing leadership as well as strategic insight and counsel to nearly all our client engagements.

A highly seasoned investment and merchant banker, An Lo has lead a variety of strategic financial funding and restructurings in three key industry sectors--financial services, industrial manufacturing and transport.

Starting with Citibank in London, he worked in Hong Kong for many years developing critical relationships in the colony as well as mainland China. After a stint with Morgan Stanley International, he returned to Singapore where he provides critical strategic counsel to a handful of leading regional and local privately-held groups with extensive investment holdings.

Poon attended university in London, and secured an advanced degree at The London School of Economics.

Peter Tan is a partner with Bridge Partners Asia and focuses on financial services especially funds management and Private Equity. In addition to working with Bridge Partners Asia, Peter serves as a Board Observer for three regional Private Equity Funds which are based in Singapore. His particular focus is on valuations and management teams. He has been instrumental in bringing certain senior resources to materially improve both the management depth and financial performance of these turn-around situations.

A native of Malaysia, Peter is married to a Singaporean and resides in the Republic. He holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell and attended the University of Michigan Business School.

Charles Cleveland Managing Principal, an original founder, leads Bridge Partners Asia's management consulting activities throughout Southeast Asia and selected GCC locations. After receiving his formal bank training at Wells Fargo Bank and working in Well's Leveraged Finance team, Charlie worked for two, global management consultancies, initially in Singapore and later in Hong Kong.

Since founding Bridge Partners with two former Arthur D Little colleagues in 2001 Charlie has focused on strategic and business planning, Enterprise Performance Management--Scorecarding, BPM/BPR--and due diligence engagements. Particularly keen on Integration Planning and Value realization, Charlie focuses on Integration, Day One Planning and business consolidation. In addition to risk management and Valuation issues.

Charlie is a graduate of both Clarmont McKenna College and the Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University. He is persuing a CFA rating. Currently, he lives in Malaysia although is frequently on long-term temporary posting to lead/direct implementation engagements.

  Key Staff
George Cheah a Limited Partner and plays a crucial role in leading Bridge Partner Asia's logistics and transport work. He started his career working in Hong Kong for a family-owned shipping and transporter, and more recently served as leader in building-up a fleet of surface transport vessels as well a network of regional warehouses supplying third party services to selected exporters.

George was educated in Australia in Melbourne and received his business degree from Sydney. He is an occasional speaker at various global and regional shipping industry events.

Keith Paxton is an Australian by birth, lives in Jakarta. His focus is on market assessment and distribution and valuation. Keith joins Bridge Partners from Coopers and Lybrand and a brief stint with ANZ Bank.

He attended school in Perth and obtained a business degree from Melbourne University.
